@jfmengels either works! Good to know it’s not just me lol

What do you do when presented with what feels like an impossible scenario? How do to find a solution you're comfortable with in a no-win situation?

@hayleystone Just took a quick tool, it definitely inspires the same feelings.

@hayleystone my vote goes to Tunic, that’s probably the standout for me of games I played. Fun graphics, great storytelling.

@thomasreggi That's the direction I'm leaning, just wanted to make sure there wasn't something I was missing.

If you were going to start a newsletter today, what service would you look at to help manage it?

@shawnwildermuth If we're going outside of consoles at large, my first experience that I remember was Space Cadet pinball on windows 95. Been in PC gaming for as long as I can remember.

@shawnwildermuth Sad that handhelds aren't on here, I owned a Game Boy long before I had a console. First one I played was 5, first one I owned was 10.

I also had 1 from a very young age, but never had anything to plug it into 😢

@randName Seems similar to the high level concept I was thinking of, yep!

@daniel Ah interesting! Good to know that's a supported thing.

@patak @daniel I think I'm going to end up writing my own Netlify-based variant of Mastodon at this point 😅

@daniel I'm not just following people though, I have a number of tags pinned. Content from servers that federate with mastodon.social appears there, even if I don't follow the individual posters.

My home page on Mastodon, with a large number of pinned tags.

@patak @daniel On the other hand, I'm a moderator on clocktower.social, I could hypothetically just move everything there, but am I cutting off my access to other kinds of content?

@patak @daniel Yeah, I've heard that too. It's just difficult for me because I'm trying to follow tabletop RPGs, trans/LGBT topics, writing, NASA/space exploration, and all the code/tech stuff. Being on a big instances gives me a big net, and I never have to look at the local feed (which is basically worthless here).

@patak @daniel I keep seeing people changing servers and wondering whether I should do the same. Mastodon.social seems to have resolved its performance issues, and I have a lot of interests I want to follow beyond just tech. What's your thought/feeling on moving instances at this point?
